Oklahoma State University Team Assembles X-Hab Challenge Loft
06.15.11
During the week of June 6-10, 2011, the Oklahoma State University (OSU) team, one of three finalists in the first annual X-Hab Academic Innovation Challenge, assembled and demonstrated their loft at NASA's Johnson Space Center. In this step, the OSU team's X-Hab loft is lifted and transported above the core module of NASA's Habitat Demonstration Unit (HDU), where it will serve as an inflatable second story. The winning team's X-Hab loft will provide astronauts with a means of habitation during the fall 2011 Desert RATS analog field testing mission.
