The Space Launch System is America’s next heavy-lift launch vehicle, now being developed and built by NASA and its aerospace partners. Testing was conducted at ATK’s Promontory, Utah, test facility. The work is managed for the agency by NASA’s Marshall Space Flight Center in Huntsville, Ala.
