Developmental technologies are ones that are not yet fully functional and have not yet made it to space. These technologies are considered to be Technology Readiness Level (TRL) 6 and below.
Some of the developmental technologies that SCaN is currently working on are:
Space Communications and Navigation (SCaN) has been working on the development of new space clock technology. The atomic space clocks on board spacecraft are used to help navigate the spacecraft while they are in orbit around Earth or on deep space missions.
Space Communication and Navigation (SCaN) has been arraying, or combining multiple antennas as though they are one, its ground antennas since the 1980s.
