Representatives of the Tropical Rainfall Measuring Mission team gathered on April 15 at NASA’s Goddard Space Flight Center in Greenbelt, Maryland, to commemorate the end of the mission. TRMM was a joint mission between NASA and the Japanese Aerospace Exploration Agency, and members of both agencies were in attendance. NASA and JAXA stopped the spacecraft’s science operations and data collection on April 8.
