NASA Wallops Making the Sun-Earth Connection
The NASA Visitor Center at the Wallops Flight Facility will be the site of the 2013 NASA Sun-Earth Days live webcast from 1 to 2:30 p.m., March 22.
This year’s Sun-Earth Program theme is “Solar Max: Storm Warning!”
NASA Edge hosts the program that will discuss solar maximum, auroras and why NASA studies them, planetary effects of solar maximum, and highlights from NASA’s recent VISIONS sounding rocket mission.
NASA Edge programs feature hosts who explore NASA science and missions in an offbeat, funny, yet informative way.
More than 100 area students are expected to attend and participate in the web cast.
