Stennis Engineer Receives NASA Environmental Excellence Award

NASA Environmental Management Director James Leatherwood (right) presented the individual NASA Environmental Quality Award to NASA engineer Bryon Maynard during a June 28 ceremony at John C. Stennis Space Center. Maynard was recognized for his role in converting a 107,000-gallon liquid hydrogen sphere and two other obsolete tanks at Stennis into offshore artificial reefs.
