Callie Hall (left), a physical scientist with the NASA Applied Science and Technology Project Office at John C. Stennis Space Center, and Maria Kalcic (center), senior research scientist for the CSC information technology company at Stennis, present Hancock High School teacher Shani Bourn a salinity drifter module for her aquatic science class. Stennis researchers are partnering with students in the class to study the intrusion of saltwater into vital coastal fresh water areas.
