STENNISPHERE TO CLOSE NOVEMBER 9 FOR SPECIAL EVENT

StenniSphere, the visitor center at NASA Stennis Space Center in south Mississippi, will close to the public Thursday, Nov. 9, due to a special event.

The visitor center will resume normal operations Friday, Nov. 10.

StenniSphere offers free tours of America's largest rocket engine test complex Wednesday-Saturday, 10 a.m.-3 p.m. Tours begin at the Launch Pad, located at the Mississippi Welcome Center, Interstate 10, Exit 2 in Hancock County. All visitors age 18 and older must present a valid photo I.D., such as a driver's license or passport.
