Return to Duty
Civil service employees at NASA John C. Stennis Space Center are reporting to work as they are able. Employees attended an All-Hands meeting on Wednesday, Sept. 14, at 11 a.m. in the Logtown Conference Room of Building 1100.
Employees can get gas on site at the APG service station by showing their Stennis badge. The APG is located on J-Road and will operate 7 a.m.-5 p.m. each day.
Employee Check In
A call center has been established to help locate and assist NASA, contractor and resident agency employees and their families. Employees who have not yet checked in with the call center are asked to call 1-877-470-5240 toll-free or (228)688-3777 to provide their status.
The call center operation hours are 6 a.m. – 6 p.m.
NASA has set up a hurricane information web site for employees (
http://www.nasa.gov/eoc) that lists helpful information for employees and their families. Employees with Internet access are encouraged to check the web site daily for updated information.
Employee Assistance Program
The Employee Assistance Program (EAP) is available to assist employees with the emotional trauma and financial strain caused by Hurricane Katrina. The EAP is available to employees and their families. For more information, call (228) 688-3005 or (228) 688-2079.

On Site Hours of Operation
Keesler Federal Credit Union has new hours, 9 a.m.-5 p.m. Monday through Friday, until further notice. They will be extending membership eligibility for Red Cross, FEMA and other disaster relief workers who are on-site temporarily.
Hancock Bank is open 9 a.m.-4 p.m. Monday through Friday, for regular operations.
The Barber Shop located in Bldg. 1100 is open for normal operations Tuesday through Friday beginning at 8 a.m.
