NASA Invites Media to Tennessee Valley Combined Federal Campaign 2015 Kickoff

The Tennessee Valley Combined Federal Campaign will launch its annual goodwill drive with a kick-off event on Tuesday, Sept. 22 at 1 p.m. at NASA’s Marshall Space Flight Center in Huntsville, Alabama. Media are invited to attend.

The kickoff will highlight this year’s campaign theme, “You Can Change a Life,” and will include remarks by Marshall Center Director Patrick Scheuermann and entertainment by the U.S. Army Materiel Command Band. Pam Clasgens, development director at Health Establishments at Local Schools, or HEALS Inc., will be the guest speaker. A charity fair, showcasing 40 local non-profit organizations, will provide an opportunity for participants to learn about charities that benefit from the CFC.

The event is open to more than 30 federal agencies from Redstone Arsenal and surrounding counties in Alabama and Tennessee. The kickoff and charity fair will be held at Activities Building 4316, Digney Road, Marshall Space Flight Center.

Media must report to the Redstone Arsenal Joint Visitor Control Center at Gate 9, Interstate 565 interchange at Research Park Boulevard by 12:45 p.m. on Sept. 22.
