NASA Interns to Share Summer Work Experiences During Poster Exposition Aug. 10; Media Invited

On Aug. 10, more than 150 summer interns at NASA’s Marshall Space Flight Center in Huntsville, Alabama, will share their work experiences during the annual poster exposition. Media and Marshall team members are invited to speak with the interns, view poster designs and attend the afternoon awards ceremony. All activities will take place in Marshall’s Activities Building 4316.

Throughout the day, a panel of experts will make their rounds to interview interns about their poster’s composition and judge them based on scientific accuracy and merit. After the results are tallied, awards will be presented in multiple categories including engineering, science and overall winners.

The poster exposition, sponsored in part by Lockheed Martin, long-time prime contractor with NASA, allows Marshall leadership to recognize students for their achievements. Marshall Center Director Todd May is scheduled to view posters and provide opening remarks during the awards ceremony.
