Actress Dr. Tonea Stewart to Keynote NASA Marshall's Black History Month Program Feb. 26

What: To commemorate Black History Month, NASA's Marshall Space Flight Center will hold a special observance program at 10:30 a.m. Feb. 26 in Building 4200, Morris Auditorium. News media are invited to attend.

Who: Dr. Tonea Stewart, an actress best known for her role as Aunt Etta on the television series, "In the Heat of the Night," will speak. Stewart is currently director of theatre arts at Alabama State University in Montgomery. The Voices of Marshall chorus also will perform at the program.

When: 10:30 a.m. CST, Feb. 26

Where: Morris Auditorium, Building 4200, Marshall Center

To attend: News media interested in attending the events should contact Angela Storey in Marshall's Public & Employee Communications Office at 256-544-0034 no later than 4 p.m. CST Monday, Feb. 25. Media must report to the Redstone Arsenal Joint Visitor Control Center at Gate 9, Interstate 565 interchange at Rideout Road/Research Park Boulevard. Vehicles are subject to a security search at the gate. News media will need two photo identifications and proof of car insurance. Visitor parking is available in front of Building 4200 on the southwest side.
