FMA Live! Performance to Be Held April 26 at NASA's Marshall Center for National 'Take Our Children to Work Day'
There will be a whole lot of moving and shaking April 26 at the FMA Live! hip-hop performance, hosted by NASA's Marshall Space Flight Center in Huntsville, Ala., in observance of national "Take Our Children to Work Day." Who:
FMA Live! (Force equals Mass times Acceleration) is an award-winning science education program -- created by Honeywell Corp. and NASA in 2004 -- and is designed to inspire elementary and middle school students to pursue studies in science, technology, engineering and mathematics. The program uses actors, video and interactive demonstrations to teach concepts like Isaac Newton's Three Laws of Motion. Marshall Center civil service and contractor employees, their families and the media are invited to attend. FMA Live! will perform four, 45-minute science concerts. The show times are as follows:
- Show One: 8:45-9:30 a.m.
- Show Two: 10:15-11 a.m.
- Show Three: 11:45 a.m.-12:30 p.m.
- Show Four: 1-1:45 p.m.

News media interested in attending the events should contact Angela Storey in Marshall's Public & Employee Communications Office at 256-544-0034 no later than 4 p.m. CDT on Wednesday, April 25. Media must report to the Redstone Arsenal Joint Visitor Control Center at Gate 9, Interstate 565 interchange at Rideout Road/Research Park Boulevard. Vehicles are subject to a security search at the gate. News media will need two photo identifications and proof of car insurance. Visitor parking is available in front of Building 4200 on the southwest side.
