  • The next generation of scientists and engineers will compete in NASA’s 14th annual Great Moonbuggy Race April 13-14.
  • Schedule a time to talk live on race day with student moonbuggy racers from your area about their race experience and the months their team worked to design, build and test their moonbuggy.
  • Sixty high school and college teams from 20 states, Puerto Rico, Canada and Germany will meet the engineering challenges of building a moonbuggy and racing across a moon-like surface at the U.S. Space & Rocket Center in Huntsville, Ala.
  • Students face unique challenges, learn engineering techniques and practical uses of math and physics, inspired by the first lunar roving vehicle -- designed, developed and tested by NASA’s Marshall Space Flight Center in Huntsville.
