NASA FY 2008 Budget Briefing Scheduled Monday, Feb. 5

NASA Administrator Michael Griffin will present the agency's fiscal year 2008 budget proposal in a briefing from NASA Headquarters in Washington and broadcast live on NASA TV. News media are invited to the center to participate in the administrator's live televised briefing. Following the administrator's briefing, David King, director of the Marshall Space Flight Center in Huntsville, Ala., will be available to the media to discuss the NASA budget as it relates to the Marshall Center.
A summary of the NASA fiscal 2008 budget will be available online Feb. 5 at noon CST at:

News media interested in covering the event should contact June Malone of the Marshall Public and Employee Communications Department at 256-544-0034 no later than 4 p.m. Friday, Feb. 2. Media must report to the Redstone Joint Visitor Control Center at Gate 9, Interstate 565 interchange at Rideout Road/Research Park Boulevard at least 40 minutes prior to the start of the event to be covered. Vehicles are subject to a security search at the gate. News media will need two photo identifications and proof of car insurance. Visitor parking is available in front of Bldg. 4200 on the southwest side.
