NASA Marshall Center to honor employees at annual awards ceremonies July 20
What: On July 20, NASA's Marshall Space Flight Center in Huntsville, Ala., will recognize employees who have made significant contributions to America's space program over the last 12 months during the Center's annual awards ceremony. NASA and the Marshall Center will present awards to approximately 240 civil servant and contractor employees, highlighting both group and individual achievements with a range of awards.
Who: Presenting the awards will be:
- William Readdy, NASA Associate Administrator for the Office of Space Flight, NASA Headquarters
- David King, Marshall Center Director
When: Tuesday, July 20, 2004
- NASA Honor Awards - 10 a.m. CDT
- Marshall Center Honor Awards - 2 p.m. CDT
Where: Marshall Center, Building 4200, Morris Auditorium
To attend: News media interested in covering the event should contact the Marshall Media Relations Department at (256) 544-0034. Media must report to Gate 9, Rideout Road/Research Park Blvd. exit at Interstate 565. Vehicles are subject to security search at the gate. News media will need two photo identifications and proof of car insurance. Visitor parking is available in front of Bldg. 4200 on the southwest side.
