NASA FY 2005 budget briefing set for
Tuesday, Feb. 3

NASA Administrator Sean O’Keefe will preview the Agency’s fiscal year 2005 budget proposal in a press briefing at noon, CST, Tuesday, Feb. 3. It will be carried live on NASA TV. Following the O'Keefe briefing David King, director of the Marshall Space Flight Center in Huntsville, Ala., will be available to discuss the NASA budget with local news media.


What: NASA Administrator Sean O’Keefe will preview the Agency’s fiscal year 2005 budget proposal in a press briefing at noon, CST, Tuesday, Feb. 3. The briefing originates at NASA Headquarters in Washington and will be broadcast live on NASA TV. Administrator O’Keefe and other Agency officials will answer budget-related questions from members of the news media in Washington and at NASA field centers.

Following Administrator O’Keefe’s briefing, David King, director of the Marshall Space Flight Center in Huntsville, Ala., will be available to discuss the NASA budget with local news media.

A summary of the NASA budget will be distributed at the beginning of the Administrator’s briefing to reporters in attendance at NASA field centers. It will also be available on Monday, Feb. 2 on the Internet at:

When: Tuesday, Feb. 3, 2004
Noon CST

Where: The Marshall Center Newsroom
Room 115, Bldg. 4200, Rideout Road.

To attend: News media interested in covering the event should contact the Marshall Media Relations Department at (256) 544-0034 no later than 10 a.m., Monday, Feb. 2. Media must report to Gate 9 on Rideout Road, off I-565. Vehicles are subject to security search at the gate. News media will need two photo identifications and proof of car insurance. Visitor parking is available in front of Bldg. 4200 on the southwest side.
