Waldo J. Rodriquez, born in San Juan, Puerto Rico, has been a civil servant at Langley Research Center for the past 2 1/2 years after arriving from Norfolk State as a professor of chemistry.

He received his bachelor's and doctoral degrees from Iowa State and Tulane Universities respectively. Now living in Norfolk, Va., he works on center as the education public outreach point of contact for the Science Directorate, Stratosphere-Troposphere Exchange Research and Science Visualization for CALIPSO.
