After 34 years of federal service, 26 of them at NASA Langley, Henry “Tex” Jones will retire on May 3. Jones worked his entire federal career for the U.S. Army under many different commands. He retires from the U.S. Army Research, Development and Engineering Command (RDECOM).

He has worked in many technical areas, including helicopter performance analysis, preliminary design, program management, helicopter acoustics, unmanned aerial vehicle design, wind tunnel testing, computational fluid dynamics and optimization analysis.
