Roger V. Butler passed away on May 15, 2008.
Roger was born in Ennis, Texas, and has lived in the Tidewater area for over 50 years where he met and married Thelma Elizabeth Shaner who predeceased him. He retired from NASA where he worked helping contractors and NASA personnel collaborate in the growing computer industry.
A private graveside service will be held Monday, May 19, with an open memorial service at Hilton Presbyterian Church at 4 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hilton Presbyterian Church or the Newport News Food Bank.
Arrangements are by Weymouth Funeral Home.
