It is with deep sadness that we announce the April 3, 2008 death of our co-worker and friend, James Fields, Jr.
James was one of the original members of the LaRC Navigation Center in Building 1212 and touched the lives of many NASA Langley employees.
There will be a viewing on Thursday, April 10, 2008, from 2 to 5 pm, at Smith Brothers Funeral Home, 545 E. Mercury Blvd., Hampton (723-4117). A funeral service will be held on Friday, April 11, 2008, at 11 am, at Morningstar Baptist Church, 2717 N. Armistead Avenue in Hampton. Interment will be in Charleston, SC following the funeral.
Please send cards of condolence to James' mother, Mrs. Marie W. Fields, 4403 Spur Street, North Charleston, SC 29405. Flowers may be sent to the funeral home in Hampton, or to Harleston-Boags Funeral Home, 121 Calhoun Street, Charleston, SC 29401-3551 (843-723-3066).
