Geneva 'Pete' Kelly 'Braun'
Geneva 'Pete' Kelly 'Braun' passed away on June 29, 2008.
Mrs. Kelly was retired from NASA and was employed as an administration coordinator for the SCOUT LAUNCH VEHICLE PROGRAM. She and fellow associates always joked about how hard working she was. She always replied, 'Do you know how hard it is to keep 10 NASA technicians and 30 NASA engineers in line?' After retirement, Pete took a one month sabbatical. She got bored, and then worked for 10 years as a dental office receptionist. She finally called in quits in 2005.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, July 3, at Weymouth Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, July 4, at Stevens Memorial Baptist Church with interment to follow at Hampton Memorial Gardens in Hampton. A reception for family and friends will follow at the church.
