The Combined Federal Campaign Has Officially Begun

The Combined Federal Campaign (CFC) at NASA Langley had its official kick-off today and the campaign will continue through Dec. 5. The financial goal for this year's campaign is $390,000. "We have set an ambitious goal, but I think we can reach it," said Dave Bowles, the 2009 CFC Chair.

The CFC team met this morning for a discussion and overview of information. The kick-off continued in the cafeteria as Bowles and other team members passed out cake and encouraged employees to enter a raffle that benefits the CFC.

The slogan for this year is, "iCan." The next event is "Jail the Manager," which will take place in the cafeteria on Tuesday. Other events to follow will include a chili cook-off, a silent auction, a bake sale and a wine and cheese social.
