On Tuesday, more than a dozen NASA Langley managers were served a warrant and taken to jail in the NASA Langley cafeteria to help raise money for the Combined Federal Campaign (CFC). With the average imprisonment equaling one minute for each dollar donated, some were luckier than others.
In the image above, five of the prisoners await their release. Pictured from left to right, Chuck Good, Grant Watson, Don Porter, Richard Cooper and CFC Chair Dave Bowles had already served a combined three hours behind bars. Center Director Lesa Roe was next in line to be arrested.
This event raised $1,380 for the CFC, which will bring the CFC total to $43,853. The CFC will continue towards its goal of $390,000 with the chili cook-off, silent auction and bake sale, which is taking place in the Reid Conference Center on Tuesday, Nov. 10.
