NASA TO HOLD BRIEFING ON FY 2005 BUDGET TUESDAY

Administrator Sean O’Keefe will preview the agency’s fiscal year 2005 budget proposal on Tuesday, Feb. 3, at 1 p.m. The briefing will be carried live on NASA TV and will be broadcast in the NASA Langley newsroom.

Two-way question-and-answer capability for reporters covering the event will be available.

Immediately following the Administrator’s briefing, Kenneth J. Winter, NASA Langley’s Chief Financial Officer, will be available to talk with reporters.

To participate in the briefing, call Margarette Lynch at 864-6124 by 10 a.m. Tuesday to arrange for credentials and an escort to the newsroom.

NASA Television is available on AMC-9, transponder 9C, C-Band, located at 85 degrees west longitude. The frequency is 3880.0 MHz. Polarization is vertical, and audio is monaural at 6.80 MHz.
