NASA Langley to Host Business Forum
NASA Langley Research Center will host the annual Small
Disadvantaged Business/University Opportunities Forum on June 21,
2001, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the H.J.E. Reid Conference Center in
Hampton. Doña A.P. Story, President of Quality Technical
Services, Inc., will be the keynote speaker.
The forum presents a high-level marketing opportunity for small
disadvantaged business firms and universities. One-on-one meetings
allow participants to meet privately with potential NASA Langley
customers and to present their capabilities and technology for
consideration.
The forum also contains a full day of presentations by NASA
researchers, small disadvantaged businesses and minority
institutions. Topics and areas of interest include aerospace
systems, atmospheric sciences, structures and materials, and
systems engineering.
This years forum is a partnership among NASA
Langleys Offices of Procurement and Education, NASA
Headquarters Offices of Aerospace Technology and Small
Disadvantaged Business Utilization, Hampton University and
Virginias Center for Innovative Technology.
