Virginia Math and Science Coalition to meet at NASA, VASC The Virginia Math and Science Coalition will meet at NASA Langley Research Center and the Virginia Air and Space Center in Hampton, Va., on Jan. 25 and 26 for its "2000 Winter Meeting." Among the participants will be former astronaut Kathryn Thornton, now with the University of Virginia. Also at the session will be Mark Warner, president of the coalition, and Loren Pitt, director. The coalition will be at the Virginia Air and Space Center at 5 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 25, and at NASA Langley's H.J.E. Reid Conference Center from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 26. News media who wish to attend the event at NASA should gather at the main gate off Commander Shepard Boulevard a few minutes before 8 a.m. Jan. 26. - end - | |
