Congressmen to visit NASA Langley on budget mission

Senator Charles S. RobbU.S. Sen. Charles Robb and other congressmen will visit NASA Langley on Thursday, Sept. 2 on a fact-finding mission related to the proposed NASA budget cuts.

Representative Robert C. ScottAlso here will be Rep. Robert Scott, Rep. Herbert Bateman, and staffers from the offices of Sen. John Warner, Rep. Owen Pickett and Rep. Norman Sisisky.

Additionally, members of the mayor's task force fighting the budget cuts will attend the event, which runs from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Participants will be available for interviews.

Representative Herbert H. BatemanAll of the presentations except the last will take place in the Pearl Young Theater. The last presentation will take place in a wind tunnel.
