News Media Invited for NTSB visit

AVIATION SAFETY OFFICIAL TO SPEAK AT NASA LANGLEY

News media are invited to NASA Langley Research Center Friday to hear the nation's top aviation safety official speak on the "challenges in aircraft accident investigation." James E. Hall, Chairman of the National Transportation Safety Board, will speak at 1 p.m., May 22, in the H. J. E. Reid Conference Center, Building 1222.

Hall, who is also a member of the White House Commission on Aviation Safety and Security, will be at Langley for a series of technical briefings on NASA Langley's research programs.

Please note that Hall's schedule is tight and will likely be available only a couple minutes before his presentation and immediately after his presentation, expected to conclude at 1:30. the last few minutes of his presentation are expected to be devoted to questions from the audience at which time news media may ask questions along with other audience members.
