MONDAY, FEB. 2, AT 3 P.M.

Briefing planned for NASA Langley FY 98 budget request

A briefing to present the NASA budget request for fiscal 1999 will be held at NASA Langley Research Center at 3 p.m. Monday, Feb. 2. The briefing will be held in the Newsroom in Building 1202 on North Dryden Street.

The briefing will be in two parts:

  • Starting at 3 p.m., a news conference will be broadcast from NASA Headquarters in Washington, D.C., at which the budget will be presented. NASA Administrator Daniel S. Goldin will participate. Local media will be able to ask questions via an audiovisual satellite link between Washington and NASA Langley.
  • Following the NASA Headquarters presentation, Langley senior management will discuss the Langley budget and take questions. Printed budget information will be distributed.

To reach the Newsroom, get a visitor badge at the Main Gate, which is on Langley Boulevard. Follow Langley Boulevard to the last right (North Dryden Street) before the Wythe Creek Gate. Turn right on North Dryden. Building 1202 is the second building on the left.
