New Technologies To Be Featured At 1996 EXPOTECH News Conference
A news conference previewing technologies to be featured at the EXPOTECH technology exposition Sept. 10-11 will be held at 10:30, Thursday, Sept. 5, at the Peninsula Advanced Technology Center (PATC) in Hampton, Va.
Technologies from Peninsula businesses, the Jefferson Lab and NASA Langley Research Center will be highlighted. An overview of each organization's involvement in EXPOTECH will also be presented.
The two-day event features seminars, exhibits and demonstrations highlighting the technology of the NASA Langley Research Center, the Jefferson Lab (formerly CEBAF) and many high-tech companies of Hampton Roads. The Peninsula Advanced Technology Center is coordinating the exposition in association with the two national laboratories, the Virginia Peninsula Economic Development Council and the cities of Hampton and Newport News.
The purpose of EXPOTECH '96 is to increase the awareness of available technologies and to expedite their commercialization by the business community. Exhibitors will showcase their nationally recognized capabilities in the fields of aerospace, electronics, advanced materials, instrumentation, transportation and more.
Directions: The PATC is located within the Morgan Marrow Building at Six Manhattan Square in Hampton off Butler Farm Road and across from the Tysinger Motors complex.
