King's Hospital Director Kicks Off NASA Combined Federal
Campaign
The annual Combined Federal Campaign (CFC) at NASA Langley
Research Center will officially begin Sept. 28 with a keynote
address by the president and chief executive officer of the
Children's Hospital of The King's Daughters. Robert I. Bonar, Jr.
will address NASA employees at 1:30 p.m. in the Pearl I. Young
Theater, 5A N. Dryden St.
Bonar began his health care career as a mobile intensive care
and flight paramedic in northern West Virginia. He has bachelor's
and master's degrees in education administration from West Virginia
University and a master's in healthcare administration from the
University of Oklahoma.
NASA Langley's 1995-96 CFC goal is to raise $280,000. According
to Jack Clough, NASA Langley's CFC program manager, last year NASA
Langley had "the highest participation rate, the highest average
gift, and the largest number of $500-plus and $1,000-plus givers of
any major federal group."
