Image above: Greg Howl (left) and Jeff Werner (right) hold the 1/24 scale Tri-Star L-1011 "S2" plane which was recently tested at the Wallops Island Facility. The plane has a turbine engine and is outfitted with wingtip air data probes and a cockpit camera that carries custom inertial data, which gathers equipment, located inside the fuselage.
