TARGET KSC LANDING DATE/TIME: May 25 at about 8:32 a.m.
MISSION DURATION: 10 days, 4 hours, 24 minutes

ORBITAL ALTITUDE and INCLINATION: 160 nautical miles/51.6 degrees
NOTE: Atlantis began its roll out to Pad 39A at about 2:30 a.m. today and was hard down at about 8:30 a.m. The auxiliary power unit No. 3 hot fire test is scheduled for 8:30 p.m. tonight and the rotating service structure will move into position at about 9 a.m. tomorrow.
Work to design and fabricate the clamps that will help securely fasten the "pyro can" and base plate assemblies in Atlantis' aft compartment continues. A fit check of the fabricated parts is slated for Friday and installation should occur on Tuesday. The payload bay doors will be opened on Friday and payload installation is set for Monday.

NOTE: Thruster replacement work continues on Columbia's forward reaction control system in the Hypergol Maintenance Facility. The forward reaction control system should return to the OPF in early May to be reinstalled on the orbiter. Postflight work on Columbia's auxiliary power units will continue through Saturday. Spacelab reservicing activities also continue.
STS-83R booster stacking operations continue in the Vehicle Assembly Building. Mating of the right aft center segment to the right aft segment is complete and the right forward center segment is scheduled for transfer to the VAB today.

NOTE: Endeavour's payload bay doors are open and technicians continue work to gain access to the orbiter's midbody and aft compartment. Freon coolant loop deservicing is scheduled for tomorrow.
