The countdown for Space Shuttle Mission STS-69 went without trouble today. Endeavour was launched on time at 11:09 a.m. Endeavour is scheduled to land at 7:38 a.m. Sept. 18 at KSC’s Shuttle Landing Facility.

The Spartan-201 payload is scheduled to be deployed tomorrow at about 11:41 a.m. EDT. It will be retrieved on Sunday. Wake Shield Facility will be deployed on Monday and retrieved on Wednesday.

The crew for mission STS-69 are: Commander David Walker, Pilot Ken Cockrell, and Mission Specialists James Voss, James Newman and Michael Gernhardt.
