NASA Leaders Kick-Off Explorer School Event
CAPE CANAVERAL, Fla. -- An educational partnership between NASA and the Park Creek Elementary School in Dalton, Ga., will have its official kickoff event on Wednesday, Nov. 14, at the school beginning at 9:30 a.m. EST.
Participating in the event will be NASA astronaut Roger Crouch and NASA's Kennedy Space Center Special Operations Manager Joe Dowdy.

The NASA Explorer Schools Program provides schools with classroom resources and innovative technology based on NASA's missions and discoveries. During the three-year partnership, NASA helps schools address science, technology, engineering and mathematics needs. Park Creek Elementary School was selected as a NASA Explorer School beginning in academic year 2006-2007.
