Directions from State Road 528 to the Badging Office:
From the Cocoa Beach area, take A1A north toward Port Canaveral. After A1A turns into State Road 528, drive past the exit to Cape Canaveral Air Force Station and the cruise ships. Continue west on State Road 528, passing over the Banana River. Turn right onto State Road 3 on Merritt Island.

If traveling east on State Road 528 from the Orlando area, turn right onto State Road 3 on Merritt Island, and then turn left at the traffic light to travel under the State Road 528 overpass.

Drive north on State Road 3 toward Kennedy Space Center. Just before Kennedy's Security Gate 2, turn left onto Space Commerce Way after traveling a distance of approximately 7.7 miles. Follow Space Commerce Way until it intersects with State Road 405, also known as the NASA Causeway, a distance of approximately 2.8 miles. Turn right onto State Road 405 and continue past the Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex entrance. The Kennedy Badging Office is on the right just before Kennedy's Security Gate 3, a distance of approximately one mile. Pick up your machine pass inside the office.

Next, proceed to the Press Accreditation Office on State Road 3 by retracing your route, a distance of approximately 5.3 miles altogether.

Directions from U.S. 1 to the Badging Office:
If traveling on U.S. Highway 1 from the Cocoa or Titusville areas, take State Road 405 east for approximately 7 miles, crossing over the Indian River and passing the Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex before arriving at the Kennedy Badging Office on the right.

Directions from the Badging Office to the Press Accreditation Office:
Turn left onto State Road 405 and travel west past the Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex to the first traffic light, a distance of approximately 1 mile. At the traffic light, turn left onto Space Commerce Way. Stay on Space Commerce Way until it intersects with State Road 3, a distance of approximately 2.8 miles. Turn right onto State Road 3. The Press Accreditation Office is about 1.5 miles on the left, across from the Air Liquide plant.

Transportation from the Press Accreditation Office to the NASA News Center:
Foreign media are not permitted to drive on center and must leave their vehicles in the Press Accreditation Office parking lot. NASA will provide transportation by bus or van between the Press Accreditation Office and the NASA News Center on a continuous basis. Pickup also can be arranged by calling 321-867-2468.

For additional information on badging and media credentials, contact Jennifer Horner at 321-867-6598 or 321-867-2468.
