Kennedy Space Center's Countdown
Production of Countdown was suspended on Oct. 1, 2009. Kennedy Space Center employees may continue to rely on the Spaceport News, the KSC Daily News, the KSC Bulletin, and the KSC Employee Update for the latest news about happenings on the center, around the agency and throughout America's space program.
Countdown was published twice a week from 2002 and 2009 for Kennedy Space Center civil service and contractor employees.
The one-page publication included a variety of topics, from processing, launching and landing spacecraft and payloads, to health and education opportunities, to information of general interest such as science updates.
The objective was to keep the work force informed in a timely manner and quick, easy-to-read format. It was distributed mainly via e-mail and also was available on the Web.
