Endeavour Departs Kennedy

Wheels up! Space shuttle Endeavour, secured atop NASA's modified 747 Shuttle Carrier Aircraft, rises from the runway at Kennedy Space Center's Shuttle Landing Facility. The duo took off at 7:22 a.m. EDT, beginning Endeavour's ferry flight to California and the final ferry flight of the Space Shuttle Program era.
