Expendable Launch Vehicle Status Report

The launch of AC-77/GOES-J has been postponed 24 hours to allow time to complete failure analysis of the Atlas stage main battery. A problem with a cell in the battery was identified yesterday during testing. A replacement battery is being activated and installed in the vehicle. The launch window on Saturday, May 20 is unchanged, 1:42 a.m. to 2:55 a.m.
