Linda Theobald is chief of Legislative Affairs, Community Relations and Strategic Communications in External Relations at NASA's John F. Kennedy Space Center, Fla.
Theobald has over 18 years of experience in NASA Public Affairs beginning as a public affairs specialist at the Marshall Space flight Center in Alabama. Prior to taking her current position in 2008, she was the NASA public affairs officer responsible for directing all media, outreach and protocol activities at the Stennis Space Center in Mississippi.
Before joining NASA, Theobald worked for the U.S. military at Ramstein Air Force Base in Germany for eight years, directing the communication functions for a joint service operation consisting of U.S. Air Force, U. S. Army and NATO commanders, known as the Warrior Preparation Center.
Theobald holds a bachelor's degree in graphics and marketing from the University of Southern Mississippi and a master's degree in human relations from the University of Southern Mississippi.
