Associate Director for Resource Management
Center Operations Directorate
Steve Brisbin is the associate director for Resource Management within the Center Operations directorate (TA) at NASA's John F. Kennedy Space Center in Florida, effective January 2009. He provides guidance and assistance to the director, Center Operations, in the areas of business management, protective services, center planning and development and to the NASA/Air Force Management Office.
Brisbin has served in various civil service positions for approximately 28 years. Previously, Brisbin served Kennedy as the division chief for the Medical and Environmental Management Division, as division chief for Institutional Safety and Quality, and as the NASA environmental health officer within the lead center for occupational medicine.
Prior to joining Kennedy, Brisbin worked for 14 years in leadership positions in medical, safety and environmental protection covering both Ames Research Center and Dryden Flight Research Center.
Brisbin received a Bachelor of Science in biology and chemistry from the University of New Mexico, as well as a Master of Science in environmental health.
