Get Ready for LCROSS Lunar Impact Event
The Lunar Crater Observation and Sensing Satellite (LCROSS) and its Centaur rocket stage are scheduled to hit near the moon's south pole on Friday, Oct. 9, at approximately 4:30 a.m. Pacific. The goal: To search for water ice.
