Researchers at NASA’s Johnson Space Center have developed a comprehensive Web-based training and certification database. The Training Records and Certification Electronic Reporting System (TRACERS) allows employees, training coordinators, and managers to view and update employee training records. Employees can view job training requirements, career development obligations, and any prerequisites related to a position. Training coordinators and managers can view and edit position requirements and career development records to employees in all departments they supervise. The system improves upon a previous package that required data entry be completed by program administrators. This software may be released for U.S. Government purposes only.
