Audiology and Hearing Conservation Clinic (AuHCon)
Johnson Space Center's (JSC) Audiology and Hearing Conservation (AuHCon) clinic provides clinical, administrative and research support to NASA's efforts to prevent noise-related hearing loss among astronauts and other flight personnel, as well as ground-based NASA employees and contractors at JSC. In addition, the JSC Audiologist is a consultant in auditory issues in aerospace medicine at NASA and an educator in hearing conservation topics. The JSC Audiologist is an Associate Professor in Baylor College of Medicine'sDepartment of Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery and is associate with its Center for Space Medicine.
