Returning Space Station Crew Available for Interviews

Fresh from six months in orbit aboard the International Space Station, astronaut Leroy Chiao and cosmonaut Salizhan Sharipov will be available Friday to discuss their experiences live on NASA TV.

Chiao and Sharipov, the tenth Station crew, will be available for interviews from 7:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. EDT Friday, May 20. Chiao, who commanded Expedition 10, and Sharipov, who served as flight engineer, take pride in being the first Station crew of all-Asian heritage. Chiao, a Chinese American, is a native of the San Francisco Bay area. Sharipov is a native of Kyrgyzstan in Central Asia.
