| Media Opportunities with NASA Astronauts at the Houston Rodeo
The Rodeo may be winding down but NASA is gearing up for some very exciting events in the near future. From the upcoming International Space Station crew exchange and the launch of Space Shuttle Discovery, to inviting the community to the first NASA Johnson Space Center Open House in nearly four years, NASA has a lot to share.
Several astronauts will be on hand this weekend at the Rodeo, March 19 and 20, to talk about what's in store for NASA's future. Astronauts will be signing autographs at the NASA exhibit located at the southeast lobby of the Reliant Center just outside of Exhibit Hall B. Astronauts will be available for interviews briefly after their signing sessions.
Available times to interview astronauts are listed below:
Saturday, March 19 Steve Swanson and Mike Foreman -- noon to 12:15 p.m. Gregory Chamitoff and Takao Doi -- 2 to 2:15 p.m.
Sunday, March 20 Hans Schlegel and Charles Hobaugh -- noon to 12:15 p.m. Tracy Caldwell and Ron Garan -- 2 to 2:15 p.m.
