JSC Director Available Monday to Discuss FY 2008 Budget
NASA Johnson Space Center Director Michael L. Coats will be available at JSC to discuss the agency's FY 2008 budget at 2:30 p.m. Monday, Feb. 5. Coats' availability will follow a televised press briefing on the budget originating from NASA Headquarters in Washington.
From Headquarters, NASA Administrator Michael Griffin, Deputy Administrator Shana Dale and several associate administrators will brief media about the agency's FY 2008 budget beginning at noon CST. That briefing will be broadcast live on NASA Television. Once that briefing concludes, Coats will be available to media in the JSC Newsroom Briefing Room.
Media planning to attend should contact the JSC newsroom, 281-483-5111, by 11 a.m. Monday, Feb. 5 to arrange credentials. Coats' availability will not be televised and questions will be taken only from media at JSC.
