JSC Director Available Monday to Discuss FY 2007 Budget
NASA Johnson Space Center Director Michael L. Coats will be available at JSC to discuss the agency's FY 2007 budget on Monday, Feb. 6, following a televised press briefing on the budget originating from NASA Headquarters in Washington.
NASA Administrator Michael Griffin will brief media about the agency's FY 2007 budget beginning at noon CST. Griffin's briefing will be broadcast live on NASA Television. Once Griffin's briefing concludes, Coats will discuss the budget locally with JSC employees in JSC's Teague Auditorium. Following that, Coats will be available to media in the JSC Newsroom Briefing Room.
Media planning to attend should contact the JSC newsroom, (281) 483-5111, by 11 a.m. Monday, Feb. 6 to arrange credentials. The timing of Coats' availability will depend on the length of the preceding briefings, but likely will be no earlier than 1:30 p.m. Coats' availability will not be televised and questions will be taken only from media at JSC.
