NASA SPACEWALK PREVIEWS RESET FOR TUESDAY

The first spacewalk for the International Space Station Expedition 9 crew has been rescheduled to no earlier than Friday, June 25. A briefing to preview the spacewalk that had been set for today has been postponed until 3 p.m. CDT Tuesday, June 22.

Station managers reviewed all spacewalk preparations today in a Stage Operations Readiness Review and found no technical concerns. However, Russian space officials asked for additional time to discuss programmatic topics.

The Tuesday briefing from the Johnson Space Center, Houston, will be broadcast live on NASA Television, with two-way question and answer capability from participating NASA centers.

NASA Television is available on AMC-9, transponder 9C, C-Band, at 85 degrees west longitude. The frequency is 3880.0 MHz. Polarization is vertical. Audio is monaural at 6.80 MHz. For information about NASA TV and EVA live webcast, visit:
